Day by day itinerary


Day 1 - Canada - Beijing Fly to Beijing. Cross the Int'l Date Line. 


Day 2 - BeijingUpon arrival in Beijing, the capital city of China, you will be warmly greeted at the airport by the tour guide and transferred to your hotel. 


Day 3 - Beijing (AB, L)Beijing has served as the capital of five dynasties over a period of 800 years. Today, visit Tiananmen Square, the second largest public square in the world, and the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming to Qing dynasty. Tour the exquisite Summer Palace, the largest preserved ancient imperial garden in China, and a former summer resort for Emperors. Then, visit a Tong Ren Tang to learn about traditional Chinese medicine, which has existed for thousands of years. Tonight, you can choose to attend an optional tour with dinner, a large scale dramatic musical-"The Golden Mask Dynasty" ($65/RMB340). 


Day 4 - Beijing (AB, L, SD)Today's highlight is an excursion to the majestic Great Wall, the most famous image of China, and a chance to climb a portion of this 3,700-mile marvel. Visit one of the largest Jade Exhibitions in Asia enroute. After lunch, see skilled artisans at work at a Cloisonné" Factory. Then we will pass by modern exteriors of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Your welcome banquet includes the local delicacy, Peking Roast Duck. 


Day 5 - Beijing - Xi’an (B) Enjoy  the  day  at  leisure  or  join  an  optional  Temple of Heaven & Hutong Life tour with lunch( $79/RMB420).  Temple  of  Heaven,  inscribed  as  a  UNESCO  World  Heritage  Site,  was  visited by  the  Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. Then take a famous rickshaw Hutong Tour & Local Family Visit, this package also includes a traditional Beijing Zhajiangmian (“Fried Sauce noodles”)  as  lunch.  Hutongs are traditional alley ways  that  made  up  Beijing’s  old  city  planning,  take  a  special  rickshaw  ride  for  an immersive  tour  to  get  a  wonderful glimpse into yesterday’s world, the old way of life and traditional Beijing culture, and see a the  dramatic  changes  the  city  has  undergone,  continue  to  visit  a local  family  and  local  market  afterwards. In the afternoon, depart for Xi’an, and be transferred to hotel upon arrival. 


Day 6 - Xi'an (B,L)Xi'an was the first Chinese city to open its doors to the world during the Tang Dynasty. Over a period of more than 2000 years, Xi'an was the capital for eleven dynasties. Upon arrival, you will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum and see the attached life-sized defending army to the rst emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. This site is regarded as “the eighth wonder of the world" and is regarded as the top Archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Visit an Art Ceramics Factory. Optional dinner show: (US$60/p) we enjoy the special local Imperial Dumpling Banquet Dinner and the traditional Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show in the evening. 


Day 7- Xi'an (B,L)Visit the Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum in the morning. After lunch, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of the city. It is said to have been built to house and protect Buddhist scriptures collected by the Chinese monk, Xuan Zang, the key figure in the classical Chinese novel, “Jouney to the West”. In the after tour the Muslim quarters at Xi’an City; an open spices and goods market with tons of local eatery for you to try and enjoy.  


Day 8 - Xi'an-Hong Kong (B)After breakfast at the hotel, you will fly to Hong Kong. Arrive in Hong Kong-the Pearl of the East. Upon arrival, take an airport shuttle bus to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at your own leisure. 


Day 9 - Hong KongHong Kong is called the “City of Line" and a destination that begs to be explored on tourist's own pace. Join a half-day bus tour in the morning. The tour includes Victoria Peak, Stanley Market, and Aberdeen Fishing Village. You will also have a chance to go on a boat ride at the village if the weather is permitting. 


Day 10 - Hong KongYou may enjoy the free day in Hong Kong or join the optional tour to Macau. Today, take a high speed ferry (Turbojet) to Macau for a tour of Asia’s equivalent to Las Vegas, visiting the Ruins of St Paul Cathedral, A Ma Temple, Barrier Gate, Senado Square, Casinos and souvenir stores. In the evening, return to Hong Kong by high speed ferry. 


Day 11 - Depart Hong Kong - CanadaToday you will make your own way to the airport, we hope you have a memorable trip to China and hope to see you again!
